A Simulator for Sustainability in Marine Fish Farms
نویسندگان
چکیده
One of the main costs of the marine farms is the extruded feed. This paper discusses many issues given when fish, mussels, oysters or other shellfish are fed. Several published systems for sustainability are also described. Authors will propose a simulator based on underwater wireless sensors that will solve issues aforementioned giving sustainability for marine farms. Because sensors are not wired, they could be deployed widely without cable limitations. The simulator permits to design scalable systems, useful when there are many fish cages, allowing low cost maintenance. It will be compared with other simulators published by other authors. We have observed that many of them just solve some of the issues aforementioned, but not all. Key-Words: Simulator, Sustainability, Marine Fish Farms.

Simulator Software for Marine Fish Farms Sustainability
One of the main costs of the marine fish farms is the extruded feed. This paper discusses many issues given when fish, mussels, oysters or other shellfish are fed and their relation with the sustainability. There are several simulator software for fish growth and there are several published models for sustainability, but, as far as we know, there are very few simulator software for marine fish ...

Background: Fluoroquinolones are among various antibiotic groups used in livestock husbandry. The aim of this screening study was to evaluate the presence of fluoroquinolone residues in fish samples of Stara Zagora region, Bulgaria. Methods: A total of 69 samples from freshwater, marine, and anadromous fish were collected randomly from fish farms and retail stores in Stara Zagora region, Bulga...
متن کاملIsolation and molecular identification of Vibrio alginolyticus from cultured marine fish in farms located south provinces of Iran
Bacterial diseases are a major challenge and warning to the development of aquaculture industry. Vibriosis is caused by bacteria of the genus Vibrio, especially Vibrio alginolyticus, in warm and temperate regions, which cause severe damages to the marine fish production economy every year. The aim of the present study was to isolate and identify this bacterium from farmed marine fish with bacte...
متن کاملEpizootics of wild fish induced by farm fish.
The continuing decline of ocean fisheries and rise of global fish consumption has driven aquaculture growth by 10% annually over the last decade. The association of fish farms with disease emergence in sympatric wild fish stocks remains one of the most controversial and unresolved threats aquaculture poses to coastal ecosystems and fisheries. We report a comprehensive analysis of the spread and...
متن کاملPresence of Hysterothylacium gadi aduncum (Rudolphi, 1802) (Anisakidae) in cultured Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss Walbaum, 1792) in fresh water farms from Turkey and its mortality
The presence of the anisakid nematode Hysterothylacium gadi aduncum (Rudolphi, 1802) is reported for the first time in cultured rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss Walbaum, 1792) as a new host in freshwater farms from Turkey. This marine parasitic nematode is thought to complete the life cycle in fresh water and rainbow trout could act as the definitive host for this parasite under fresh water c...
